928 Spares is the brainchild of Paul Anderson ... Combining a selection of new, remanufactured items with a stock of new and used parts from a variety of 928s.

With our sister company, Heyes Engineering, we have developed these replacements for some of the parts that are prone to failure on the 928. All are designed to be higher quality than the originals.

Stainless steel cross brace

Adds additional stiffness to the car for better turn-in and more precise cornering.

This unit attaches to the standard 928 fixings and also bolts to the top of the shock absorber turrets.

Price is £121.19 plus carriage and VAT.

X-Pipe

Gives approximately 15bhp power increase over the standard system, as well as producing a wonderful exhaust note. Designed and tested by ourselves in conjunction with Ritech Engineering

Made from stainless steel. Includes tapping for O2 sensor. Fits directly to the exhaust manifolds.

Undertray

Replacement for original Porsche item. Made from 1mm thick aluminium. Straight-forward replacement for the glass fibre standard item which usually gets smashed or cracks with age.

The cooling ducts from your broken undertray are required to fit to the new item.

A number of customers have bought this for D.I.Y. fitting. The only tool you require besides spanners of course is a pop rivet gun to fix the cooling ducts.

Fuel tank cradle

Manufactured from stainless steel with a 3mm thick ABS cover. Replaces the standard cradle which has usually rotted away.

You will need to retain the small plastic cover that covers the fuel filler pipes down the side of the tank (one nut). Your new cradle is supplied with all fixings and can be fitted in under 3 hours.

Intake rubbers

Made from silicone reinforced with cotton, which is resistant to oil/fuel contamination so will therefore last much longer than the original Porsche items.

The kit includes all eight intake tubes

Bulkhead cover for early 928/928S 78-84 vacuum formed from ABS plastic

It is thicker than the original and therefore much stronger. The sealing rubber will still fit and just has to be pushed a bit harder to locate it . There is also a lip left on at the rear edge which sits under the rear finisher and keeps it in place, the original doesn't have this lip and relies on a spring clip for location. If you want original then a pair of scissors will remove it.

RMB Systems (rear muffler bypass)

We manufacture from stainless steel. This unit completely replaces the standard rear system giving a much more powerful sound.

If you are fitting an X-pipe to the car we recommend the RMB with the silencer fitted to keep noise to an acceptable level.

Can be supplied without silencer if you don't have an X-pipe
